RV Air Conditioner Covers

2 products

When your RV is in storage or parked for an extended period, the rooftop air conditioner is exposed to UV rays, moisture, and debris that can degrade the shroud and surrounding components over time. A fitted AC cover adds a layer of protection during those periods, helping to extend the life of the unit and keep it clean between uses.

Our selection features ADCO air conditioner covers designed specifically for Coleman and Dometic Brisk II rooftop units, constructed from heavy-duty vinyl with UV and mildew resistance built in. Covers are available in polar white to blend with standard rooftop finishes.

Check your AC unit's brand and model before ordering to confirm you are selecting the correct cover for your specific rooftop unit.

Do I need an RV AC cover for winter?

If your rooftop air conditioner will sit unused through the cold months, a cover keeps snow, ice, leaves, and pine needles out of the shroud vents and off the condenser coil. Debris that collects over winter can block airflow and hold moisture against the coil until spring. Put the cover on once you stop using the AC for the season, and remove it before the first startup.

Will these covers fit a Dometic rooftop air conditioner?

The covers in this collection are designed for Dometic Brisk II rooftop units. Dometic has used several shroud shapes across its Brisk, Penguin, and FreshJet lines, so a cover sized for one model may not fit another. Before ordering, check the model number on the unit's data label and confirm it is a Brisk II. If you are unsure, text or call 817-984-1852 with your model number and our team will confirm fitment.

Is there an RV AC cover for Coleman air conditioners?

Yes. This collection includes a cover designed for Coleman rooftop units. Coleman shroud dimensions vary by model and production year, so confirm your unit's model number before ordering. If your Coleman shroud is cracked or the unit itself has failed, our Coleman RV air conditioners collection has replacement rooftop units.

Should I cover my RV air conditioner during storage?

Yes, especially for outdoor storage. A parked RV's rooftop AC is exposed to UV rays, rain, and debris for weeks or months at a time. UV exposure makes plastic shrouds brittle and prone to cracking, and open vents give birds and insects a place to nest. A fitted cover protects the shroud and keeps the vents clear. If you own a Furrion unit, the covers here are not listed for Furrion shrouds; see Furrion RV air conditioner parts and accessories instead.

Can I run my RV air conditioner with the cover on?

No. A cover blocks the airflow your air conditioner needs, and running the unit with the cover in place can overheat the compressor and fan motor. Remove the cover completely before you turn the AC on. For spring startup, plug in through a Southwire Surge Guard RV surge protector to protect the AC from low voltage and power spikes at the campground pedestal.
