Two different faults send RV owners looking for these parts. A water valve that sticks or leaks shows up as a weak bowl rinse, a trickle that will not stop, or water pooling behind the toilet. A failed vacuum breaker announces itself differently, with water spraying from the top of the toilet during a flush.

We carry both, matched to specific models rather than sold as universal parts. Water valves cover Thetford Aqua-Magic IV and V, Style II, Style Plus, Lite and Bravura, Dometic 300 and 500 series, and Seaflo gravity flush toilets. Vacuum breakers cover the Dometic 300 through 321 range, Lippert Flow Max, and Thetford Style II, Lite and Plus. We also stock hand sprayer kits, waste ball seals, and flange gaskets.

Find your toilet's model number, usually on a label inside the base or under the seat, before ordering.

How do I know my camper toilet flush valve needs replacement?

The water valve usually fails in one of three ways: the bowl keeps filling after you release the pedal, the bowl gets little or no water when you flush, or water drips at the back or base of the toilet during a flush. Cracks from freezing are a frequent cause, especially when the valve was not fully drained during winterizing. Before you order a camper toilet flush valve replacement, check that the water pump or city water supply is delivering normal pressure. Low pressure can look like a valve fault.

How do I choose the right RV toilet flush valve replacement for my toilet?

Water valves are model-specific, so start with your toilet's brand and series. Dometic and SeaLand toilets list the model on a label at the back or base of the unit (for example, the 300, 310, or 320 series). Thetford toilets have the model on the base, and Aqua-Magic models also come in high-profile and low-profile versions that use different valves. Match the series and profile before ordering. If the label is worn off, text or call 817-984-1852 with photos of your toilet and we will confirm the correct valve. Orders over $100 ship free.

What does an RV toilet vacuum breaker do, and when should I replace it?

The vacuum breaker stops water in the toilet from siphoning back into your fresh water lines. Most Dometic and SeaLand gravity toilets have one, mounted at the back where the water supply enters. A failed vacuum breaker shows different symptoms than a bad water valve: water sprays or leaks from the back of the toilet only while you flush, and the bowl still fills normally. If that is what you see, an RV toilet vacuum breaker replacement is usually the fix, and you may not need to replace the whole water valve.

Can I do a camper toilet water valve replacement myself?

Yes. Most owners can complete it with a screwdriver and an adjustable wrench. Turn off the water pump and disconnect city water, then open a faucet to release line pressure. Disconnect the supply line from the valve and remove the old valve. On some models you must lift the toilet off the floor flange to reach the valve. If you remove the toilet, plan to replace the floor flange seal at the same time, because it is not included with most valve kits. Drain the new valve completely each time you winterize so it does not freeze and crack.
